KENNERLY DE FOREST

SOMMELIER & Project Manager

Kennerly de Forest was born and educated in Australia and holds a master’s degree in Outdoor Education from Griffith University.  He worked in the camping industry in the United States for several years, designing, implementing, and managing challenge course and leadership programs, which led directly to Kennerly’s formation of California-based Challenge Works, Inc. in 1997.  Kennerly has volunteered for many organizations over the years, but most notably with the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) where he is currently on the Board of Directors, and served as long-time Chair of the Accreditation & Certification Committee.  He is also a founding member of The Alliance Collaborative, a non-profit organization that is comprised of and serves members of the challenge course community.

Following over 20 years of growing hundreds of happy clients through the delivery of professional design, installation, inspection, and training services via Challenge Works, Kennerly sold his share of the company and looked forward to spending more time at home with his family in beautiful Northern California.  A post “retirement” visit from Todd Domeck led to the discovery that Kennerly’s passion for the aerial adventure industry was still strong, and what began as a wild idea over wine led to Kennerly’s acceptance of the new position with ERi.

Kennerly is a Qualified Course Professional in the areas of Designer, Installer/Inspector, Trainer/Tester, and Operation Reviewer. He is charged with project management of some of the coolest projects around…in our (possibly biased) opinion.
